Off to a great start!

So today was my first day "blogging" and I am off to a great start! I am just trying to play catch up with all of my backup photos from the spring and summer! I am not really going in order just trying to get them up for everyone to see! I am going to tackle the video's tomorrow. I have some great ones of Morgan walking and talking! I have aprox. 22 more posts to do of pictures before I am caught up so I have my work cut out for me! Enjoy!

Morgan and the Oew...she doesn't have the M yet!

Morgan loves Rez! Her first word was Oew for the kitty.... Rez has been very good with her. We were worried at the beginning because Rez is not predictable but he lets her pet him, hit him, pull on him and if she really likes you she backs up and sits down, he lets her do that as well! I think he loves her too as he is usually somewhere near her, protective maybe?! So far so good with the two of them!!!

Mason making Morgan laugh!

Mason is the only person that can make Morgan laugh like crazy with out even saying anything! She thinks the world of Mason and he can make her smile in an instant! This is at our Morgan house....they were having fun with the front glass door... What sweet smiles they both have!

Computer time

Like father like daughter!!!

Does she have a future in computer programming??? She seems to be really happy pushing the keys!

Mason goes to fishing camp!

Mason went to Camp Christmas Tree for the 3rd summer in a row! He went to fishing camp with 3 friends from school, Tyler, Jacob R and JaVontae! They had a great time fishing and playing the new game Gaga!!! They had really nice weather and they caught a lot of fish!

Picnic with Friends

I joined the Mom's Club of Minneapolis last fall in hopes of finding some stay at home mom's that had kids around Morgan's age. I never thought I would meet two of the greatest friends!

My friend Pamina has a daughter Marta who was born on the exact same day as Morgan (September 10). We have become wonderful friends. It has been so fun to see how the girls grow and change together!
My friend Kristin has a son named Riley. He celebrated his 1st birthday in June. Morgan and Riley had a love at first sight connection! There is alot of hand holding and touching! It is cute to see the kids together! Kristin and I have a great friendship and as anyone with kids knows it is WONDERFUL to have another grownup to talk to.

We have been trying to all get together once a week but with all the busy summer days it is hard. One day we decided to try a picnic at Lake Harriet. As you can see from the pictures it was naptime and no one was going to sit for a picture!
I feel really lucky that Morgan and I have found some really amazing life long friends! I am sure that there will be lots of Morgan, Marta and Riley in my blog!

Trampoline

Mason and I decided to set up the trampoline. Mason and Morgan have been enjoying it! It took us a few tries to get it set up correctly but we got it. Now we need to add the net to it. Morgan thought the bouncing was so fun!

Mason's season of baseball!

Mason had a great season of baseball with lots of friends from Sunset Hill Elementary! He played all of the positions with his favorite being catcher and pitcher! They were the D'backs and we enjoyed watching the team play! Mason played so well the first game of the season that Coach Glaser gave Mason the game ball!!! He was SO excited! He scored the first run of the season!
GO MASON!!!

Selling the house on Morgan Ave S

It is going to take me a while to get the hang of this so bare with me. Starting out I have hundreds of pictures to sort through and post!
I am going to start my blog with the biggest event of 2010 so far....we SOLD our house! It was a bittersweet day the last time we went to Morgan Ave to say goodbye! We (mostly Derek)put a lot of hard work and love into that house! We will always have a special place in our heart for our home on Morgan Ave!

Mason loved his climbing tree!
